Can insured use all 10 Pact Pauses continuously one after the other?
Yes, insured will be able to use all 10 pauses back to back but would have to start a new Pause every 14 days after about 30 minutes from previous Pause expiration.
Is there a time limit from inception of policy to when insured can start their first Pause?
No, there is no time limit insured can start Pause right away.
Why were my Pause savings so low?
The primary savings when you Pause come from removing Collision and increasing your Comprehensive deductible. If you only have minimum liability insurance, many of these coverages aren’t in place or are already at the state minimum. Therefore, the lower your regular (non-Pause) coverages are, the less savings effect Pause has.
What if someone drives my car without my knowledge when I'm on Pause and gets in an accident?
The reason we are able to pass along savings back to you with Pause is because you are confirming that the vehicle isn't used. If this were to occur, the lowered / removed coverages of Pause would be in effect, and you would be covered up to this amount. Whether you knew someone else was driving the vehicle or not has no bearing on coverage levels once you elect to Pause coverage.
What if I forget to Pause my coverage?
We're not able to offer retroactive savings if you didn't Pause your coverage.
What increments can I Pause my coverage for? How many times?
You can Pause your coverage for a minimum of 2 days and maximum of 14 days.
Per 6 month policy, you can Pause you coverage 10 times.
